Report Cards on pupils progress are issued by the school only after the final examination. The parents are requested to meet the class teachers, subject teachers etc periodically to know the progress and behavior pattern of the students. Parents are requested to note that steady and serious study at home is necessary for success. The parents or guardian’s will kindly read the rules thoroughly and sign them. Their attention is specially drawn to the Rules regarding discipline, reports, attendance and Parental co-operation, Examination and Payment of fees. The diary should be brought to school everyday. Parents should carefully go through the Diary daily and sign the Remarks. Parents /Guardians or other persons are not allowed to see the children or meet their teacher during the school hours without the sanction of the Principal. Parents/Guardians are strictly forbidden to see the teachers or pupils in their class room. The parents/ guardian are allowed to visit the class and speak to the class/ subject teachers on second Saturday only. The parents are in fact expected in the school every month on second Saturdays only. Private tuitions are strongly discouraged. If there is a real need, written permission is required from the Principal to engage a tutor at home. Teachers are not ordinarily allowed to give tuition to pupils who are taught by them. No party or demonstration in honors of a teacher or presentations of gifts is permitted without the Principal prior permission. Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking general interest in the children’s progress. The school will insist on strict punctuality, regular school attendance, cleanliness and dress, good grooming and fidelity to study and work assignment. Absence from school for merely social functions will be strongly discouraged. Students namely class IX- XII with less than 75% of attendance will not be allowed to appear for the Board examination as per the CBSE bye laws.
Silence is to be observed in the Library and reading room. Books issued are to be properly looked after and deposited on the due date. A student can borrow only one book at a time. A student may ordinarily have a copy of a book for a week and the issue may be renewed further for the same period. No book that is in great demand shall be lent for more than a week. Books will be issued to students during the library periods mentioned in the time table and if possible in free periods and also before and after the school hours. No books will be issued or returned during the teaching hours. Reference books will not be issued. Every student will be allowed to consult any reference book during the school hours. The librarian may call for a book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired. If the date of issue or return of books happens to be a holiday, both the issue or return of books shall stand postponed to the next working day. If the book is not returned at the expiry of the period of loan or after the librarian has called for it even with in the period of loan, a fine of Rs. 1/- per day of delay will be charged. Fine shall be collected by the Librarian and the fact notified in the defaulter’s card. Until such a fine is collected from defaulter , no books shall be issued to her. Absence is no excuse for delay in return of the books after the expiry of the period of loan. In case a book is misused, wrongly handled, or lost the person concerned will have to pay the full price of the books. All markings , underlining, annotating or defecting of book by any means are strictly forbidden. Fines shall be levied for violating this. Members shall carefully examine the book as soon as it is issued to them. Any mark (soil, damage etc.) shall be forthwith reported to the Librarian. Issuing of the books shall be stopped by the 1st of December and 1st April and return of the books shall be completed by 10th December and 10th May every year. This helps an annual stock taking and checking. Students will not be allowed with their personal work or bags in the library. Only note book will be allowed with the permission of the Librarian. No magazine or periodicals will be issued to the students to take their homes. They are requested to read the same inside the Library.
